Coach Sweeney is from Shreveport-Bossier, Louisiana. A graduate of Lakenheath High School in England, UK

were he still holds the fastest 40 time and 100mi time. (40 time 4.27)(100mi 10.4) He also attend 6A Bama powerhouse

Robert E. LEE High School in Montgomery were he led his team to the State finals in Football.  Between the two high schools Sweeney receive 13 Letters in 4 sports (Football, Basketball, Golf, Track). Sweeney receive a football scholarship to Mississippi Valley State in Itta Bena, MS and holds the 3rd fastest 40 time (4.26) the positions he played  was (RB, WR, KR, PR, CB, FS).  After college Sweeney started his professional football career in arena football and also coached for two professional arena football teams as a Defensive Coordinator.
